I am a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (otherwise known as SCAD) with a Fashion Marketing and Management degree. Within my studies I have learned how the idea of a product goes from the sketches of the designer to the hands of the consumer.... and all the grey area in between!
In other words, you will never see anything designed by me walking down the runway or in your online shopping cart but hopefully I played a role in the cycle of that product going to market.

My degree has given me more knowledge and access to the fashion market than I imagined. Learning key elements of digital media, global sourcing, buying, visual communication, and more, from professors who have come from industry has been one of the most beneficial parts of the learning process. I have worked on projects in and out of class regarding marketing of brands and products, production of photoshoots and lookbooks, and creating a multitude of concepts and strategies that will ultimately push the industry forward.

As the wise Coco Chanel once said, "Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has todo with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." I think we can all agree that this statement has never been more true, especially in the industry today.
